Hey guys!!

Things are going well here in… Brasilia. Today’s transfers, so we took our favorite 2am bus to Brasilia, and now we’re hanging out here for the day. After getting to the bus station at 5:45 am, and hanging out in wal-mart wasting time, our plans include a stop by the mall to buy Elder Maughan a new suit, so be ready!! Elder Schendroski’s being transferred… to Valparaiso II!! I’m really excited. I feel like a part of me is going back! I’ve already given him the names and addresses of everyone who was baptized there, and he’ll take good care of them. But man, I got really happy when I heard that.

I’ll be training again, in a 5-week speed training session. And, after doing a little of the smooth talking that I learned on the mission, my new companion and I will be going back to Posse with two mission-paid brown bag dinners. I’m rather excited. I was actually really happy to find out that I’ll be staying in Posse. The branch is growing like crazy, but I feel like there’s still a lot of work to be done, and my companion and I are going to do it.

Today was a fun day, just hanging out here in Brasilia. I’m feeling really nostalgic, almost as if I was mission-sick, but I have to remind myself that I’m still on the mission. It’s been so much fun to walk around Cruzeiro again and talk to the people that I used to know. The mission is so much fun, I hope everyone’s excited.

I noticed on the Adirondack calendar that yesterday was Memorial Day, and was definitely thinking about the traditional canoe trip, but I don’t feel too bad about missing it. I can guarantee you that the 5 hour bus ride I took yesterday is much more efficient than a canoe, and I didn’t get sunburned at all. Although the other day an investigator saw us walking down the street and said that she thought I had been transferred, because she thought that both of the missionaries she saw were very tanned (keep in mind everyone in Brazil calls me white). But maybe I’m losing the whiteness.

Alright, time to grab a bus to the central bus station, and buy some other cool stuff. Thanks for all the e-mails and love, good luck with everything, and if you need anything let me know. P-day will be next Tuesday, since next Monday will be our conference with the prophet!! Thanks for everything, and life is good!
