Thanks for the e-mail! .... I sent you a letter last week, too, which hopefully you'll get soon. I got the pictures developed at 4:40, and had to mail the letter and be back by 5, so I didn't label them or anything. I don't really remember what they are, but there are some of me and Dan, the 6 elders in our room, the view, and stuff like that. haha, i'll bet you'll be able to figure it out.

Yeah, Scott wrote me about cross-country, that's so cool! I forgot to ask him, who's the coach? I'm way proud and excited for him. And yeah, I've been not short on getting letters. I got dad's from China, which was sweet. I think there have been some letters sent that i haven't got, but life is good anyway. And they took a picture of me with the most excellent cheesecake last week, i'll check and see if they sent it or not. Thanks so much! You're awesome. There's a package at the post office, too, which i'm about to pick up. if it's from you, thanks!!

Anyway, things are going most excellent here. I don't think i'm really going to be too sad when I have to leave this massive city for Brasilia, but it's fun here. We now have 4 brazilians in our room, along with Elder Powers and me, who speak a combined like 40 words in English. It's way fun. We can communicate pretty well, it's kinda like playing pictionary the whole time. We've been teaching them some english, because they really want to learn, and it's so cool to finally be able to talk about something where i'm not totally clueless, like I am with portuguese. haha.

Hmm... so during the week I think of things to write you guys, and then I forgot them on P-day. Maybe I should start writing them down. I'm trying to think about other things to tell you about.... did I tell you about gym time? Three times a week we have gym time, where we can go running or play basketball or volleyball. The track in 14 laps to a mile, so a... unique experience, and the volleyball and basketball are pretty fun, too. Except Brazilians are so hooked on soccer that they use their feet for everything. how do you think it makes me feel to play volleyball against people who are better with their feet than I am with my hands?

Alright, e-mail time is just about up. 45 minutes a week, which i think is a great idea. and i'm hungry, so i'm gonna try to get some cheesecake and cookies. Thanks for everything, guys, and have an awesome time in lake george. i'll try not to think about you there.... Be good, work hard, and have fun! Love you guys! Eric
