Hey mom! and everyone else....

...I got my first letter this week, from Mindy, which was muito excellente. Getting letters is awesome because you feel loved..... P-days are the coolest, mostly just because we get to leave the MTC. It's not that I don't like the MTC, but as a hiker who loves to be alone, always being with a companion in a building in the middle of 20 million people isn't normally what I do for fun. Today we went to the Campinas Temple again, which was totally awesome. We're only allowed to write letters on P-day, e-mail or regular, so I wrote some on the bus today, too. And we just walk around and do whatever else needs to be done, like buying toothpaste or stamps or cookies. mostly cookies. Yeah, life is pretty good here. The language is not really too bad, it'll be alright....Hey, if you see anyone from the track team, especially siska, let him now that Jason Witt's brother is here right now. He's a really fast kid from Virginia, so that's pretty fun. I don't have their addresses, so hopefully they'll send letters. Alright, have fun at girls' camp and whatever else is going on! Love you guys! Eric
